Giving the Euro 2016 quarter finals a head start, Poland and Portugal will be competing against each other on Thursday. It is difficult to predict the outcome of this match as both the teams have been performing on almost equal levels during the European Championship. Poland has emerged a winner in the tough qualifier featuring Germany, Scotland, Georgia and Ireland to compete against France whereas Portugal has a history of reaching quarter finals during the last 6 tournaments. The match could have been labeled as a competition between Cristiano Ronaldo and Robert Lewandowski, but since the two have been struggling throughout the tournament it might be difficult to do so. Portugal has managed to seize the match with Croatia during the last 16 which might lead them to reach the quarters.
